Spring Fair

COXSACKIE — The Coxsackie United Methodist Church, 103 Mansion St., Coxsackie, Spring Fair will take place 9 a.m.-2 p.m. March 25. There will be crafts and Easter gifts along with a food sale. Breakfast sandwiches will be served 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The church is handicapped accessible.

Indoor Yard Sale

WEST GHENT — The Ghent Reformed Church, 1039 County Route 22, West Ghent, will hold their indoor yard sale 9 a.m.-2 p.m. March 25. There will also be books, puzzles raffles and even a bake sale. The kitchen counter will be open for breakfast and lunch with delicious homemade food, soups and desserts to eat in or take out.

Easter Egg Hunt

KINDERHOOK — The annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held beginning at 3 p.m. March 26 at the Kinderhook Reformed Church, 21 Broad St., Kinderhook. Tuesday Night Dinners

VALATIE — St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 1010 Kinderhook St., Valatie, announced the free Tuesday night dinners have returned. Dinners will be served 5:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesdays through March 28. Doors open at 4:30 p.m.

Palm Sunday Pancake Breakfast

HUDSON — St. Mary’s Christian Service Committee, Holy Trinity Parish, will host a Palm Sunday pancake breakfast 8:30-11:30 a.m. April 2 at the Academy, 301 Allen St., Hudson. Menu includes pancakes, eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, rolls, juice, coffee and tea. Tickets will be sold at the door. Adults, $12; children, $5; family of two adults and two children, $25.

Healing Liturgy

Holocaust Remembrance Day

HUDSON — Congregation Anshe Emeth of Hudson, 240 Joslen Blvd., Hudson, will be having a regular Shabbat Services at 7 p.m. April 14. Following the service, Kira Simons will be appearing in conjunction with Holocaust Remembrance Day. Kira serves ADL EDU as Director of Curriculum and Training. Kira designs instructional and training material to support learners in challenging all forms of bias and oppression. She will be speaking on the Rise of Anti-Semitism at home and abroad. This program is free and open to the public.

Chicken Barbecue

CATSKILL — The Knights of Columbus of Catskill will be holding a Frese catered chicken barbecue 3-6 p.m. May 4, take out only. The menu includes a half chicken, baked potato, ear of corn, cole slaw, roll and dessert. The cost is $15. Pick up is at St. Patrick’s parking lot on the corner of Spring Street and William Street. Tickets are being sold by K of C members or may be reserved by calling 518-943-5235. Tickets are limited.

Holy Week Church Services

WEST GHENT — The Ghent Reformed Church, 1039 County Route 22, West Ghent, will be holding the following services during Holy Week:

April 2 – Palm Sunday: Begin your day at 9 a.m. with a hat parade. The Sunday School will assist in the service. There will be no communion on that day. After service the Sunday School will prepare food for us.

April 6 – Maundy Thursday: At 6 p.m. we join around the table(s) for a covered dish dinner and to celebrate Communion, remembering the night that Jesus was betrayed, giving us the institution of communion.

April 9 – Easter Sunday: Yes, He Is Risen. Please join us at 9 a.m. to rejoice in the remembrance of the resurrection of our Lord. Afterwards, we will gather together with our favorite Easter breakfast foods, before we go out into the world to proclaim his goodness and glory!
